Prachuap Khiri Khan

Prachuap Khiri Khan — the main town of the province with the same name — has approximately 15 000 inhabitants. Here you can enjoy genuine Thai life with beautiful beaches, a market where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Prachuap Khiri Khan has few hotels, and due to the small number of tourists, it remains an untouched charming little beauty.

South of the town you will find a 9-hole golf course and one of the best beaches in the area. A lot of people from Bangkok come here to enjoy their weekends.

There is an old and very beautiful temple on a hill, which is covered by trees. On the side of the hill live wild monkeys.

The monkeys are protected by the law and they are not afraid of people. Do not forget to bring with you some bananas or peanuts when you visit the monkey hill. They just love it!
