Thailand
Thailand has a shape of an elephant head. In the North, it borders to Laos, in the South to Malaysia, in the West to Burma, and it is situated in between China and India. Thailand is a kingdom with a lot to offer: a good climate, beautiful nature, green mountains, sandy beaches, clear water, a lot of islands, and kind people. You can enjoy nice golf courses, sports, good healthcare, big cities as well as small untouched, picturesque villages. Furthermore, Thailand can offer a much lower cost of living than in Europe, North America and even the other Asian counties. Many people from other countries have already their second homes in this charming and welcoming country.
Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. The King has his residence here in the Palace. Bangkok has great historical monuments, temples, museums, a river market and, of course, a lot of shopping. The city can cater to all kinds of demands and interests.

Generally, the north and the middle part of the country have three seasons: the warm season from March to May, with a temperature of plus 25-34 degrees Celsius; rainy season from June to October with plus 24-32 degrees Celsius; the cool season from November to February with plus 21-32 degrees Celsius.
The people
Thai people are called ”the smiling people”. When you smile you will always get a smile in return. You always feel welcome in Thailand!
There are several nationalities here that live side by side. The largest group of people are the Thai (approximately 75%) and the Chinese (15%).
For the past 15 years many people from Europe, North America and Asia are buying properties in Thailand, and thus investing in a better quality of life. The first foreign nationalities in Thailand were North American, British, Swedish and other Scandinavian nationalities.
The food
The food in Thailand is greatly varied and you can find all types of cuisine: delicious Thai food, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and European food from countries like the Netherlands, Great Britain, Italy, Denmark, and Sweden. There are many wonderful restaurants with excellent service. Furthermore, in almost every corner there are Thai people selling fresh food, prepared in a mobile kitchen - very cheep and tasty.
